BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Nowadays, the satisfaction of our economic, social is increasing reliant upon every individual. Society has change from its nature to a Cosmo political on a situation where individual delivers message different by due to selective process.
Moreover, ICT is important in industries and business, it is equally important and useful in Journalism, the development involves pagination with magazine layout, magazine, headlines and other editorial content.
The trend in technological development have a great impact on the physical characteristics of the outcome, thus a discussion of the present and future system will naturally lead into some speculations on the future of information package by magazine.
Rowa (1979) in his monograph state that reporters in less than two decade may be able to telephone through a ICT from remote areas to state a story, there is need for voice recognition and the story will be store and retrieve when the need arises.
With the aids of mini and micro ICT works or assignment is solved with in a very little time.
Information communication technology has made journalist work and other contribution closer to each other ICT has recreate a unified voice for every journalist to quicken the specific assignment.
The researcher has observed that the quest for timely information and the number of establishment of print media is increasing, this has led to the competition among in the print industry each proprietor is working tirelessly to ensure effective presentation to become the choice of the public.
The research work will look into the importance of effective presentation. It examine T.V production as a medium that interest everybody because of its ability to give pictorial presentation and production, which further enhances the quality of information dissemination, to its public.
1.3 PURPOSE OF STUDY
The purpose of this research work is to ascertain whether Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has impact on the development of magazine visual design.
The work is to evaluate the impact of ICT on the development of magazine visual design.
The findings and consequent conclusion would be beneficial to the management and staff of Ovation Magazine, also it will help to appraise the effort of ICT in Print Journalism and evaluate its standard within other publishing industries.
Lastly, it will serve as reference source and also provide a lasting recommendation in the area communication and other related disciplines.
The determination to achieve efficiency in print media industry couple with the desire of Ovation Magazine in maintaining its stand as the best and most improved magazine in the country, has called for an empirical study of the magazine activities.
The research work is designed to analyze the impact of ICT on the development of magazine visual design; the extent to which it affects the presentation would be discussed.
The researcher is primarily on the relevance of ICT on print journalism in Ovation Magazine, the researcher is aware that ICT deals with the design, graphic application and information stored. In a print publication, but the study will deal with the internal publics, i.e. (staff and public), the research work will enhance the operation of journalism and how print reporters have been able to collect, gather and collate news at limited period.
1.6 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
There is a limitation to the ability of the researchers to reach other sources of information, which would have enhanced the quality of this study.
The work is limited to Ovation Magazine and the fact that ICT is yet to be common in other print establishment in the course of the research work, there’s financial constraint and time constraint due to the fact there’s limited time to carry out the research work, this result to having only Ovation Magazine as our limitation.

- To what extent has ICT negatively affect print production?
- Can ICT assist in solving complexity of the graphic presentation?
1.8 DEFINITION OF TERMS
ICT: - This is an electronic machine that process and accept data and produce result. Also is a set of instruction which tell the ICT what to do.
JOURNALISM: - This is the collection of information and editing of material of current interest for presentation through news media into few words.
ICT- This is the acronym of Information and Communication Technology.
